Security experts have observed a new campaign, which involves hackers using a Tor proxy site to steal Bitcoin payments from various ransomware operators. While ransomware operators often demand victims to pay using bitcoins that require them to visit a Tor site, most users often do not have a Tor browser installed. In some cases, ransomware victims choose to use Tor proxy sites to make ransom Bitcoin payments. Some hackers operating various different strains of ransomware also suggest that victims use Tor proxy sites to make payments. A new map of the highest paid jobs near Tube stations in London has shown that employers in the Barbican district offer the biggest salaries. Average salaries for advertised jobs in the area, famed for its arts centre and expensive flats, were over £52,700, according to a study by jobs site Adzuna. The next highest paying locations are City Tube stops Monument, Bank, and Cannon Street, all over £51,000. The lowest paid jobs were found close to Uxbridge in west London, with average pay of £21,786, with other low-paying areas near to Hounslow (£22,437) and Hornchurch in east London (£22,565). The highest paid Tube lines were found to be Waterloo and City (with an average of just under £51,000), and the Circle line (£47,738). TESCO is to give staff a 10.5 per cent pay rise over the next two years - but it's also cutting rates for those that work unsociable hours.It means staff will get paid at least £8.42 per hour by November 2018, up from the current £7.62.The increase is in line with expected minimum wage rises. ALDI is to give more than 3,000 staff a pay rise making it the highest-paying supermarket in the UK.Employees at the bargain chain will earn £8.53 an hour and £9.75 if they live in London, starting from February 1.The German discounter said more than 3,350 UK employees will benefit from the pay hike, which marks an increase on its current minimum pay of £8.40 an hour nationally and £9.45 in London.The move will see Aldi pay more than the voluntary Living Wage rate of £8.45 announced by the Living Wage Foundation in November. The findings were based on tests of water quality in more than 21,000 beach, river and lake sites across Europe during 2016, including non-EU members Switzerland and Albania.
