New York police on Monday said they were on the scene following reports of an explosion near Times Square. One suspect was taken into custody. "The NYPD is responding to reports of an explosion of unknown origin at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, Manhattan. The A, C and E line are being evacuated at this time.
